While working at Alexander Isley Inc., I again worked as primary designer for the thematic of the TEDMED conference in 2015. To convey the year’s theme of “Breaking Through”, we used the geometric knockout shapes found in typography. These shapes were die-cut from the program guide cover, and were used as bold graphic elements on the various printed pieces.
Bright, floral colors were used to play off the decor found at the event’s location in Palm Springs, California. Portrait illustrations were commissioned from artist Lauren Hess.
